1. Why is this toolkit useful?
This toolkit seeks to provide guidance for outlining policies aimed at the integration of migrants and the reintegration of returning migrants, from a holistic and integrated approach.
For practical purposes, this toolkit uses the term “(re)integration” to refer to both the integration process of migrants and the reintegration process of returning migrants.

Stakeholders working on the design and implementation of policies regarding the socio-economic (re)integration of migrants and returning migrants, such as:

3. How should this toolkit be used?
Users will be able to explore the contents of interest for outlining (re)integration policies and programmes. This toolkit comprises two main sections and a supplementary section. Each one includes a brief description of the processes, examples, guiding questions and good practices that will be supplemented by guidance materials that will help to identify the needs and opportunities for improvement in your country or locality.

4. What does this toolkit include?
Section 1 includes the relevant concepts and approaches that will guide the building of sustainable (re)integration interventions. Section 2 includes tools to diagnose, design, implement, monitor and evaluate policies for the socio-economic (re)integration of migrants and returning migrants. This toolkit also includes supplementary content for each of the tools.
